A fascinating parallel between human nature, neuroscience, music, and even religion. Music was transformed into an endless state of "in-betweens", unresolved. I can think of today's pop music that relies on 4 chords in a continuous loop, and many songs don't finish, they are just cut (or fade away). So in a sense, they're manifesting the Tristan chord spirit, the resolution but not resolution state, don't you think.
Anyway, thanks for sharing your insights on this topic, it certainly makes you think about music in a new light.
