Decentraland will in fact get more structured now that the Decentraland Foundation’s proposal to have authority over Decentraland’s roadmap has recently been approved.

I think it’s all about the rate of adoption. If you don’t get a significant network effect, any metaverse will fade away soon enough. I believe both can succeed and interoperability will be key to strengthening the whole space.
