I like the idea of working by objectives rather than structuring it at a fixed 40-hour week schedule. I like the examples you put, it gives a nice perspective on the matter and encourages us to change our perception of work.

I guess that there's an idea behind that if you do your work in less time, you will be given more and more things to work to fill your schedule.

I wrote an article on how Nordic countries first reduced the time spent at work and then increased their productivity, which happens to be contrary to the mainstream idea ("I'll reduce your hours if you can prove that you're more productive").
