I totally agree with this!

I wasn't aware of the incredible disparity between male and female artists. And using technology the way you're proposing, is an excellent tool to change those numbers.

We might say that algorithms are unbiased, but they're still made by people so why wouldn't they have embedded in them prejudices and cultural views, often being unconscious?

I've recently been thinking about music recommendation systems and I find out about integrating weather conditions as one additional variable in this process:

Anyway, it's time we revise the way we show new music to people, one of those being more female artist recommendations.
