In cases where the two hemispheres of the brain are surgically separated it seems like there are two separate cognitive systems within one brain.

Each hemisphere operates somewhat independently, processing information and controlling actions on its own.

So there might be some evidence for having this notion that there are two people inside. But still, there's so much we don't know yet about the brain. Just pointing out what happens in certain cases :)
