I've recently read that when your company gives away control to the users they gain trust. As you point out, a blog is a great way to give voice to your customers with their feedback on your products and services.
Maybe even have a public forum on your website where people with the same interests gather and talk about your industry. Of course, no editing the messages from your audience, and leaving them be.
Well, that's my point of view, maybe you think something else. Would you recommend an open forum on a business platform where your customers can ask questions or open discussions on things related to your industry/product/service?
