Our experience is enriched when we use all our senses, which in turn helps us get more engaged with what we do.

I went to a Waldorf School (similar to Montessori) and we did so many things with our hands (pottery, carpentry, knitting, plowing, playing an instrument, etc.). The school doesn't allow computers until high school, and I suspect that it's because of what you talk about.
