I agree. It’s more likely to connect with a person than with an abstract entity like a brand. And maybe that’s why brands are hiring influencers, to put a friendly face to their company. I didn’t know about those virtual influencers, are they like avatars with their own AI technology? You got me thinking about those virtual artists in Japan (Hatsune Miku for instance) that so many people are hyped about right now.
