The thing is that with age you get more health issues which add to the already uncertain economy looking ahead (gig economy, recessions, etc.).

It's very worrying that so many people cannot save for retirement in the sense that you might have unforeseeable problems that should partly be taken care of with some backup money. It's a scary future, but I like how you frame it.
