These are some very interesting quotes and insights.
I do however think that if you apply these thought patterns to your life you might always find what you're looking for and creating an environment no one really likes:
- People who are trying to steal your job so you're always on the lookout
- Never being genuine but always adapting to what others might want to hear/see
- Showing your teeth instead of acting in a compassionate way
Etc.
There are of course some valuable lessons here, especially for more nasty corporate environments, but could we change that with random acts of kindness, listening to one another, helping out, promoting collaboration instead of competition?
Maybe I'm too naive but I don't want to lose hope we can create a better place around us for the benefit of everyone. Or at least try it one day at a time ;)
