Wait but is there any study that states a relationship between dress code and productivity? I realize the 61% is misreporting but it would be great to know if there is an actual study that goes beyond self-report and really looks at the association between these two variables.

Maybe you could do a follow-up article on this issue. I'm eager to know and see if all that fuzz on Silicon Valley's casual dress code (or any dress code at all!) is really the way to go.
