We definitely need a change in the status quo. It's unthinkable that wage slavery is still a thing in the twenty-first century. Well, at least for me, given how much our society has evolved in the past 100 years.

Is universal basic income a good step towards ending wage slavery? There are basic things that should be available to everyone like healthcare but some countries don't seem to be ready to talk about that yet. There's a lot of work to be done to ensure the basics are provided to everyone.
