You were able to separate the feelings of moving to a new place (and all the novelty that comes with it) with your experiences with Jon. Not many can do that.

We project feelings onto others but these are really due to other circumstances. And we call it falling in love or just liking someone. Until we find that it's not that person the one making us feel this way it might be too late.
