Your article helped me realize how last year made us more cognitive and emotional empathetic towards people all around the world. It's the first time we're all having the same experience, and not just looking at the news and commenting with our friends about what happened in some distant part of the world.

In a way, it has made us feel we belong to the same Earth. Before we understood we're part of a planet (cognitive empathy) but now we can experience it very deeply (emotional empathy).
